Do you dream of spending time working on a cruise ship and exploring foreign lands? While on the Norwegian Pearl exploring Alaska, a dream come true I joked with the Washy washy girls that I would happily stay on board and do their job every day if it meant seeing more of Alaska and other amazing places. I was reading on Facebook today how one girl had gone aboard a cruise ship for schoolies and fell in love with ship life. Now she has a job aboard the ship entertaining guests for that next 7 months! It doesn't always have to be difficult to land a dream job. There are many types of jobs to apply for onboard a cruise ship from being a waiter/waitress /cleaning to shopping assistants, Beauty Parlours, selling Art, Photography as well as public speaking also working in the Casino Childcare facilities Deckhand & Engine Jobs Entertaining in various ways Food Service and Cooking International aid workers. When are you heading off on your big adventure? When I looked at the NCL Website a few minutes ago there was 49 jobs which included bar work, a cook, youth counselor and many more ......If you want to get work on a cruise ship start applying! These photos were taken in Glacier Bay Alaska + Vancouver Canada.

If you are good at making things or are good at something like unlocking phones / engraving or another skill why not have a market stall in different places as you travel ? I know people who make things or do sewing as they travel to make a living. One man was an artist & he had a line up of people waiting for him to draw a portrait from a photo they provided . Another lady made home made cards and was selling them at the market. We used to sell Hook Eze - a fishing safety product when we were traveling around and really enjoyed it. Make sure you check out about market insurance in your area before you start applying for a stand at a market . If you are a musician maybe you can entertain the crowds. Bacon and egg sandwiches cooked fresh at the market as well as home made cakes and biscuits !

Do you enjoy cooking for others ? If so this opens up a lot of job opportunities for you as you travel ! There are many roadhouses looking for someone to cook for a few months at a time . I did see a job cooking on a farm for all the workers recently. You could possibly sell food at a market stall . One of the busiest stands at a market is usually a bacon & egg sandwich stand competing with the coffee stand. Do check out the regulations in your state or city first. I worked in a bakery in a small country town for a few months cooking out the back which was an interesting experience !
